Pistol Courses

Required Equipment

• Appropriate semi-auto pistol – tactical, duty, or compact size.
• A minimum of three magazines. A magazine loader is recommended for double-stack magazines.
• Holster – Strong side on the belt or strong-side IWB preferred. Holsters must be of sufficient quality to ensure safety. Retention systems must be safe to operate. Holsters without retention systems must hold the pistol securely. Small-of-the-back, cross-draw, and shoulder holsters will not be permitted for safety reasons. Click here for Recommended Holsters.
• Dual Magazine Pouch.
• Pistol Belt
• Cleaning kit and lube.
• Ammunition – Quality factory ammunition should be used. See below for sources for ammunition.

Carbine Courses

Required Equipment

• M4, M16, or AR-15 rifle or carbine. These techniques are taught exactly as they are to Israeli Special Forces soldiers, so no other type of carbine or rifle may be used.
• Best configuration is a carbine (16″ or shorter barrel) with flat-top upper, detachable or flip-up rear iron sight, and fixed or  flip-up front iron sight.
• Minimum of three magazines.

Recommended Equipment

• Reflex Optic (red dot sight). We recommend the Israeli issue Mepro M21 or the Mepro M5.
• Sling - Israeli SL-1, SL-2, or FAB Bungee Slings will be available for use by students.
• Handguard with rail. NFR or FGR-3 handguards are recommended.
• Semi-auto pistol with holster.

Eastern Bloc Carbine Courses (Israeli Method AK-47/AK-74 courses)

Required Equipment

• AK-47 or AK-74, Galil, Sa vz.58, or similar-style rifle or carbine (HK-style weapons may also be used).
• Minimum of three magazines.

Recommended Equipment

• Reflex Optic (red dot sight). We recommend the Israeli issue Mepro M21 or the Mepro M5.
• Buttstock with cheekpiece for proper cheekweld with optic
• Sling - Israeli SL-1, SL-2, or FAB Bungee Slings will be available for use by students.
• Handguard with rail. VFR-AK or AK-L/U handguards are recommended (or the equivalent for Galil and Sa. vz.58, etc.).
• Semi-auto pistol with holster.

Ammunition

We recommend Black Hills ammunition. Black Hills supplies match ammunition to all branches of the US military. Black Hills ammunition is accurate, reliable and affordable.

Cleaning kit and lube.

Required Safety Equipment for all courses

• Ballistic Eye Protection
• Suitable hearing protection

Recommended Safety Equipment

• Knee Pads
• Shooting Gloves

Clothing

• Comfortable boots or shoes suitable for physical activity.
• Tactical-type pants.
• T-shirt, polo shirt, etc.
• Fleece or light jacket

Israeli military issue weapon accessories and holsters will be available for use by students during courses.
